Packaging

As well as the traditional bulk delivery of aggregates, we can supply all our products in a range of
pack sizes.

Using state of the art technology fitted to our recently installed form fill & seal machine, we can accurately pack up to 50 tons per hour. The packs are neatly stacked on pallets by a robot and shrink wrapped for delivery by one of our trucks. This high output machine assists us in fulling orders within our target of 48 hours from receipt of order to delivery.

Our big bags are filled using on board weighers fitted to our fleet of Telehandlers. This gives us the flexibility to fill bags to the required weight specified by customers quickly and efficiently.

Delivery

Operated by our parent company, a fleet of 10 vehicles can deliver from 10 x 25kg bags to 29 tons bulk or bagged loads. The fleet was recently upgraded and six of the vehicles are fitted with the very latest Euro 5 compliant engines giving low emissions and economical use.The vehicles are also fitted with a tracking device enabling us to maximise usage of all our vehicles thereby enabling us to give our customers the best possible service.

The current fleet consists of six Volvo FH 12 tractor units with a full range of both flat and bulk trailers carrying up to 29 tons, one DAF and one Volvo eight wheeler tippers carrying 20 tons and a six wheeler Iveco fitted with a Hiab for multi drops of bags and pallets. For deliveries of less than 500kg a small Citroen van is also operated.
